Appliance Renovation Plan

The Ministry of Innovation, Science and Enterprise, through the Andalusian Energy Agency, will invest five and a half million euros Renovation Appliances Plan 2007 for 60000 efficient appliances and a few others of Class A or higher. So, starting soon, visitors who come to any of the 1232 Andalusian shops adhering to this reconvening will receive an incentive of between 70 and 105 euros to change their appliances for others that consume less energy.

The Malaga province has the second highest number of business second only to Seville who have with only 176. In the Guadalhorce District there are more than a dozen shops where you can apply for this plan. Coin is at the top of the list with a lot of shops subscribing to this plan, among them are Elmicoín or Electromuebles Coín. Cartama has Electroclima Guadalhorce, Alhaurin de la Torre has Electrotiendas P. Cuenca, Electroimagen Bravo Marin in Alhaurin el Grande and Electroardales in Ardales are just a sample of businesses where they can go and take part in this plan . In Pizarra, Electromuebles Vera Reyes also has been inscribed in to the plan.

Citizens who wish to benefit from these incentives should make the purchase of the apparatus in any of the establishments taking part in the program, where they they get direct discounts.

In the first part of this Plan Renove, Andalusians changed a total of 61,344 of its least efficient appliances Class A or higher. In total 54,765 Andalusian families help to avoid the release into the atmosphere of 10,549 tons of CO2.
